W-DRAGON: “making-of” gallery of the new T. rex

As shown in two posts on our Instagram, W-Dragon jumped on the train of the scientifically accurate T. rex too, with their own version. In 1/35 scale, made of PVC, it will have a polystone base and two interchangeable heads, for open and closed mouth poses.

The first reactions were mixed, and the general idea is that the figure has very little scientific. Actually, judging from this making-of gallery of the figure, it seems that there has been thorough research and particular attention in recreating a legendary tyrannosaurus: BHI 3033, also known as “Stan”!

We have therefore decided to translate the texts from Chinese, also to make you appreciate details that you may have missed at first glance.

  1. I am really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..
